Bar De Nada branding

Essex based retro venue Bar De Nada (Leigh-On-Sea) required promotional material to reflect their business after a refurbishment. Photography taken on location. A modernised baroque logo, business card, direct mail and drinks menu shown.

Perspective Construction branding

London and Cambridgeshire based construction and architectural consultants required a company name, logo and website that reflected their business practice and ethos. A family owned business that had previously been operating as two separate arms (construction and architectural design) wanted their design to embody modernity, vibrance in developing and building constructions that respected their enviroment. Many of their redevelopments are carried out on Grade Listed buildings.

Homemade Cafe branding

Homemade Cafe and licenced bar based in the South East commissioned a rebrand. The brief was to reflect the cafes traditional product, fun and relaxed ethos and homely qualities. Drawing on the illustrations and styling of the 50-60's I created a new logo, menu, and direct mail postcards were designed to promote its optional use as a party venue and their acoustic and dance evenings.

Sync-up marketing

Design required to promote new communication packages for THA. THA agency had developed a series of packages targetting the entry level production, filming and event/conference market. The brief was to engage new business with a modern, WYSIWYG attitute towards delivering and producing successful events and in doing so empower them. The name derived from a modern and unique buzzword for interacting and sharing information with others.

Eating carrots makes you see in the dark

Masters degree project created to reflect my growing concern at the manipulation of the consumer by the food marketing machine. The project looked at the way food retailers use images and language to deflect from the true identity and origins of their products. The packaging and 24 page book design depicts with a mixture of illustrations and photomontage some of the true origins of the food on our plates.
